2001 - 2002
Trained at The International Hotel School (Johannesburg RSA) Culinary & Kitchen Management Course.
Two-year course with both practical and theoretical studies. In-service training at The Balalaika Hotel, and the Michelangelo Hotel in Johannesburg.
2002 - 2004
Chef at the Michelangelo Hotel. The Michelangelo Hotel is located in the CBD - Nelson Mandela Square Sandton, Johannesburg. The hotel is five star and part of the ‘leading hotels of the world’ owned by Legacy Hotels and Resorts.
2004 - 2005
Senior chef at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers. The only five star hotel in the heart of Pretoria, with major clients from government ministries, presidents, both local and foreign.
Invited by the South African Embassy, Rome to promote South African food and wine, and spent eleven days at the St. Regis Hotel, Rome.
2005 - 2009
Commenced as a chef de partie and progressed to executive chef within 4 years at the Rosendale Restaurant.
2009 - 2014
Head chef at the Criterion Restaurant.
2014 - 2016
Head chef at New St Grill D&D Restaurants London.
New Executive Chef at 54 on Bath.
